S.A.R.A. (Seniors At Risk Referral Assistance) program was designed in 2004 with seniors in mind, to provide an opportunity for personal contact for those who live alone or have special needs. Once enrolled, regularly scheduled visits are made to the home of the “at risk” senior by the Victim Services Unit and/or deputy assigned to his/her area. If needed, contact is made with other community resources to provide in home services, which may include Meals on Wheels, housekeeping, lifeline, and Senior Services.
