We are currently hiring for the position of Deputy Sheriff within the Community Policing Bureau.

Minimum qualifications for this position include the following:

At least 19 years of age

U.S. citizen

High School Graduate or equivalent

Honorable or General Discharge (if a veteran)

No felony arrests

No misdemeanor convictions involving perjury or false statements

Possess a valid driver's license

Good driving record

Be of good moral character and successfully complete a thorough background investigation

All applicants must satisfactorily complete a medical examination/wellness evaluation, including drug screen, polygraph and psychological evaluation

Prior to applying, all applicants must have completed the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Course and state wide examination to be a Certified Officer.
