We are currently hiring for the position of Corrections Officer within the Corrections Bureau.

Minimum qualifications for this position include the following:

At least 19 years of age

U.S. citizen

High School Graduate or equivalent

Honorable or General Discharge (if a veteran)

No felony arrests

No misdemeanor convictions involving perjury or false statements

Possess a valid driver's license

Good driving record

Be of good moral character and successfully complete a thorough background investigation

All applicants must satisfactorily complete a medical examination/wellness evaluation, including drug screen, polygraph and psychological evaluation

Prior to applying, all applicants must have completed the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Course for Corrections and the State Exam to be a Certified Corrections Officer.
