A SEARCH IS ON FOR A SUSPECT IN AN ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION
 



Marion County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man accused of an attempted abduction of a mother, while her two children watched. The victim, is in her early 20’s, was walking along 132nd Place, Ocklawaha (Southeastern section of Marion County) around 4:22 p.m., Friday (September 25, 2009) when a blue van came along side of the victim, who says the suspect asked a few questions, before trying to force her into a van. A struggle took place, resulting in minor injuries to the victim, who took off running with her children in a stroller.

The suspect’s description: Black male
6’-6’2”
Early 20’s
Possible “web” tattoo near thumb
Wearing Jeans with a white sleeveless shirt at the time of the incident
