As part of an effort to serve the citizens in this county better the Major Crimes Bureau and the Robbery Unit are wanting to increase the awareness of robberies. They have created a new program in order to reach out to the community and businesses. This program includes free robbery presentations to enhance business and citizen awareness of robberies to include, preventative measures, what to do during a robbery, and post robbery procedures to ensure safety and increase the likelihood of suspect apprehension. The presentations last approximately one hour, however it can be tailored to accommodate your needs and time constraints. Presentations can be held on location at the Sheriff's Office or at a business.
