Welcome to the Silver Springs District of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. I am Lieutenant Mark Kelly and it is truly an honor to be your District Commander.

The Silver Springs District not only encompasses Silver Springs but a total of 42 square miles ranging from Jacksonville road in the west to CR 315 in the east. It also includes Baseline road from 97th street road, south to 464. The latest population figures indicate that this area has approximately 18,490 residents living with this district’s boundaries. Currently there are 12 deputies, one property crimes detective and a secretary assigned to the Silver Springs District.
