Welcome to the Criminal Investigations Division. The division was created to handle complex multi-jurisdictional investigations and intelligence gathering on suspected drug dealers, vice operations and acts of terrorism.

The Criminal Investigations Division is comprised of numerous units such as:

• Drug Enforcement

• Sexual Offender/Predator

• Property Crimes

• Evidence

• Terrorist/Intel

• Crime Analysis

All Major Crimes detectives work very closely with outside agencies such as the Medical Examiner’s Office, Children’s Advocacy Center, Children & Family Services, Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Fire Marshal, State Attorney’s Office and other local, state and national law enforcement agencies.
