DAVID CLARK JR.
On April 24, 2023, David Clark Jr.'s mother reported him missing after not seeing or hearing from him since late February. David was known as a nature lover who often spent extended periods camping, sometimes without regular communication. However, after his vehicle was located at the intersection of National Forest Road (NFR) 22 and SE 183rd Avenue Road, family became concerned.
Deputies learned that the U.S. Forest Service had discovered David's vehicle on April 15, 2023, with a flat tire in a restricted area north of NFR 22. A tow notice had been placed on the vehicle. Deputies responded and located a campsite believed to belong to David. An extensive search of the surrounding woods near the Forest Lake Park community led to the discovery of a second campsite connected to him.
