The Human Resources Office administers an extensive selection of personnel functions within the agency.  Our primary mission is to provide the necessary assistance to our 750+ employees and their dependents, 1200+ volunteers and services to the general public.  Our duties include recruitment and selection of employees, managing Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) credentials and professional compliance, administration of our excellent employee benefits program which includes health, dental, vision and life insurance plans, participation in Florida Retirement System (FRS), deferred compensation – 457 (b) plans and a variety of voluntary supplemental benefits such as critical illness and cancer insurance plans. Our division manages risk management and a safety and wellness program. In addition, the office coordinates employee and labor relations and administers the agency’s performance management system
