THOMAS MASCARO

Thomas was reported missing by his family on March 9, 2013, after they could not locate him at his home at 10877 SW 80th Court in the Oak Run Community in Ocala.

During the investigation, deputies spoke with family members, who stated that Thomas was estranged from them and had not been seen for an extended period of time prior to being reported missing. During a canvass of the area, deputies learned that neighbors believed they had seen Thomas in his garage just a few weeks prior. Detectives also learned that Thomas was known to walk long distances, often for miles, along the Greenway Trails near his residence. MCSO specialty units conducted extensive searches of the Greenway Trails and surrounding wooded areas, but no evidence of Thomas was found.
