Hello, my name is Lieutenant Mike Joyner, and I am the District Commander for the West Marion District Office. The district is comprised of ten deputies, one detective, and a district secretary. Our office is located inside the World Equestrian Center at Barn X.

The West Marion District is over 30 square miles and includes the communities of Ocala Park Estates, Ocala Ridge, Ocala Palms, and Ocala Preserve, among others. The district extends north to Highway 326 and south to Highway 40.  

The district is known for the World Equestrian Center, which is a year-round, open-daily equestrian, sport, and resort complex. The WEC offers free general admission, major horse shows, dining, shopping, lodging, and seasonal events. It also includes 23 arenas, including the Grand Outdoor Arena and the WEC stadium, climate-controlled barns, University of Florida veterinary care, University of Florida sports medicine, and two expo centers for conventions, trade shows, and special events.
